Jena Pincott


Jena Pincott is a science writer and the author of eight books, including Do Chocolate Lovers Have Sweeter Babies: The Surprising Science of Pregnancy and Do Gentlemen Really Prefer Blondes: The Science of Love, Sex & Attraction. Her titles have received starred reviews from Kirkus, Publisher’s Weekly, and Library Journal and have been translated in 18 languages. A writer with a background in biology, she has contributes to Psychology Today, Scientific American, and other publications, and lives in New York City with her two STEM-loving daughters (who sometimes become her guinea pigs). Jena is repped by Jacqui Lipton.

Fun fact: I’m ashamed to say it, but I love the old incandescent bulbs. The century-old type with the curly tungsten filament that generates far more heat than light. But, oh but that warm glow! I think of myself as an environmentalist, so now I’ve got Ecobulbs in every fixture, with one exception: my desk lamp. I need incandescent to write!
